Our programs are designed to approach the plants shamanically (with the plantas maestras), medically (with herbs), and in combination.

 

In the indigenous cosmovision, shamanic plants (plantas maestras) are considered different than "everyday healing plants" (medicinal herbs). They are often used together, but seen as having different healing potential.

Our programs offer strictly medicinal plant learning, or the combination of shamanic & medicinal. Through banos floridas, perfumes, purges, plant diets, and healing herbal preparations, we offer a wide range of ways to learn, interact, and heal with the plant realm.

The programs themselves offer therapy, learning, and shamanic training, and range from beginner to advanced. They may range from 10 days to 1 month, and are constructed to match each group that comes.

The construction of the programs happens through an interview process that the student has with one of our Arkana Team Members.
